The Russians in the temporarily occupied territories are trying to attract Ukrainian youth to the newly created pro-Russian organisations.

So-called "military-patriotic education" has become one of the main elements of this policy.
For this purpose, "public organisations" such as "Young Builders of the Kherson Region", "The Youth of Kherson" and others are actively being formed.
Details: The Russian occupiers are making Ukrainian youth participate in such organisations by force.
Meanwhile, the older generation of the region is being drawn to the newly created organisations "Union of Mothers of Kherson Region" and the "Organisation of Veterans of Kherson Region".
In addition, in order to create the impression of mass support among local youth for the occupation regime, participation in the project "Tvoy Shag" (Your Step) organised by the "Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation" is actively promoted.
The "Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation" has announced the holding of all-Russian children's and youth competitions "Planeta Bolshikh Peremen" (Planet of Big Changes) and "Big Change" (Bolshaia Peremena) in the occupied territories.
In addition, on 31 July, "Yunarmyia Soldiers" (a paramilitary formation – ed.) from the so-called "DPR" (Donetsk People’s Republic) will take part in the main naval parade in St. Petersburg.
