The Russian occupiers made several assault attempts from the different sides of the Lysychansk area and surrounding villages in Luhansk Oblast.

Details: According to the head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, the occupiers are trying to launch an attack on Bakhmut, but they are facing substantial resistance.
On 20 July, the Russians launched 2 powerful rocket attacks, 4 sustained artillery attacks, 5 mortar attacks, and tried to advance with tanks on two populated areas in the east in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are defending.
According to Haidai, the Russians are carrying out forced mobilisation in the occupied territories, and in particular in Starobilsk. Local men are hiding, and some are trying to leave under any pretext.
