Quote: "Russian military forces are demanding that the administration of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant open engine rooms at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd power units so that they can store their entire military arsenal there.
It seems safe to the occupiers, since they’re terribly afraid of receiving "presents" from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is why they now want to bring tanks, trucks, armaments with ammunition loads, etc., to the engine rooms".
Details: The occupiers will thus block access by the firefighting equipment to three power units of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
If a fire starts, it will be quite problematic to put it out because the specialised transport won’t be able to enter.
Quote: "Russian occupiers are violating all the standards and requirements concerning nuclear and radiation security at the nuclear power plant. They’re planning to store armaments and explosives right inside the engine rooms of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe".
Details: Energoatom has called upon the international community to take all possible measures to set the Ukrainian ZNPP free from the occupiers.
On 20 July on social media, a video was published where smoke could be seen near the ZNPP. The occupiers claimed that the ZNPP had allegedly been attacked by kamikaze drones. Meanwhile local groups reported that Ukrainian forces had hit the concentration of Russian military equipment near the power plant.
