Quote: "Currently, it is difficult to calculate how many people remain in the occupied parts of Luhansk region. This is because we do not know how many people have died. Due to the high density of shelling, people could not collect and bury their relatives.

There were cases where citizens tried to take away the dead, but they themselves died under shelling. There has been no other place in Ukraine under such dense fire as in Luhansk Oblast."

Details: According to estimates by the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, more than 300,000 people have been evacuated from the oblast since 24 February; more than 650,000 people have been living in the part of the oblast controlled by Ukraine since 2014.
