Another 45 bodies of Ukrainian defenders returned to Ukraine

In accordance with the norms of the Geneva Convention, another 45 bodies of Ukrainian defenders were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Details: The operation was carried out with the assistance from Oleh Kotenko, Commissioner for Missing Persons, and the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
Background: On 3 July Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, reported that the country managed to recover the bodies of more than 400 soldiers killed since the beginning of the full-scale war with Russia.
