Kharkiv survives the night without shelling, and Russian rockets hit Toretsk and a village in the Odesa region – Oblast Military Administration

On the night of 18 July, the Russian army hit the Odesa region with rockets. Only one of the 7 rockets was shot down; 6 people were injured. Kharkiv was not shelled last night, but a Russian rocket landed in the Chuhuiv district of the region.

Details: The Russians also shelled Tsirkuny and Nikopol again, hit Toretsk with rockets, shelled the Kramatorsk industrial zone, and stormed Verkhnokamianske.

Odesa Oblast: During the night, the Russian army attacked with missiles – 7 Calibre-type cruise missiles were launched from the Black Sea. One was shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft defence forces, 6 hit a peaceful village.

Several private houses and outbuildings were destroyed and caught fire as a result of the shelling. Several private houses, cars, a school and a cultural centre were also damaged. 6 people were injured, including 1 child. The fire was extinguished promptly. Sumy Oblast: During the night there were mortar attacks on the Krasnopillia and Myropillia hromadas [Amalgamated Territorial Communities]. Preliminary information suggests no casualties or destruction.

Within the last 24 hours, the Russians have again shelled the territories of the region. They have struck the Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Bilopillia, Khotin, Myropillia and Esman hromadas [Amalgamated Territorial Communities].

During the day, Russian forces fired more than 150 mines and shells.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: Russian forces shelled the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts. In Nikopol, two industrial enterprises were destroyed. The explosions caused fires there. They have already been extinguished. Several private houses were damaged. People were not affected.

The community of Zelenodolsk was shelled in the Kryvyi Rih district. No damage or casualties. Detailed information is being clarified.

Kharkiv Oblast: No shelling was recorded in Kharkiv during the night.

During the night, a fire broke out on the territory of a private home as a result of shelling in the village of Korobochkino, Chuhuiv district.

In the morning, there was a rocket attack on the Chuhuiv district, the village of Bashkyrivka in the forest. One hit confirmed. There was no fire.

There were no casualties as a result of the night’s shelling.

Luhansk Oblast: The Russians tried to attack four areas at once. Verkhnokamiansk was attacked both from the side of the Lysychansk oil refinery and from the area of Zolotarivka. The invaders wanted to advance towards the Donetsk region from there.

They tried to improve their position near Bilohorivka.

"In many places, the offensive was stopped, in some places the fighting continues. The enemy also launched an airstrike on Verkhnokamiansk. In total, 4 missile strikes, 2 airstrikes and 11 artillery shells were fired at our positions," stated Serhii Haidai, the head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration.

Donetsk Oblast: The Russians are firing from Grad MLRS, Uragan and artillery. Avdiivka (residential area, Avdiivka coke plant), Soledar (residential area), Bakhmut (residential area) are under fire.

During the night and in the morning, Russian soldiers carried out two rocket strikes on Toretsk, shelling of the industrial zones of Kramatorsk and Kurakhove, and shelling of the village of Novoukrainka.

Within the last 24 hours, one woman has died, and two civilians have been injured.

The region remains without gas and partly without water and electricity. Evacuation of the population continues.

Mykolaiv Region: In the evening of 18 July, the occupiers shelled the Korabelnyi district of the city of Mykolaiv with cluster shells. The private sector was mainly targeted – windows and roofs in private houses were damaged. A woman and a man were injured.

At approximately 23:50 on Monday, the Shyroke community came under fire. The strikes landed outside the settlements.
