Reznikov promises "very good news" after conversation with US Pentagon chief

On Monday, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov reported that following a telephone conversation with US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin, he had some "very good news" from the United States.

Quote: "I discussed with our great friend Lloyd J. Austin III the upcoming meeting within the framework of #Ramstein: we agreed on the agenda, shared information on the control of arms arriving in Ukraine etc. Also, @SecDef has some very good news, but details will come a little later."
Last week, the US Ministry of Defence stated that the fourth meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group will be held online on 20 July.
Background: The previous meeting in the Ramstein format (named after the US Air Force base in Germany where the first meeting took place) was held on 15 June in Brussels. Defence department representatives from almost 50 countries attended the meeting in person.
