Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian assaults on 8 villages and Vuhlehirska thermal power plant – General Staff report

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled Russian assault operations on the Donetsk and Bakhmut fronts and in the areas near the villages of Kamianka and Novomykhailivka and the city of Vuhledar.

Details: On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces are regularly conducting aerial reconnaissance and firing on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the Ukrainian-Russian border in Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts.
On the Kharkiv front, Russia is trying to prevent Ukrainian forces from advancing towards the Ukrainian-Russian border [in the north and northeast of Kharkiv Oblast – ed.]. Russian forces fired on several neighbourhoods in the city of Kharkiv, as well as on the towns and villages of Derhachi, Pechenihy, Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, Pytomnyk and Korobochkyne. Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes near Verkhnii Saltiv and Rubizhne.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian occupying forces used artillery to fire on the areas around Novomykolaivka, Dibrovne, Kostiantynivka, Bohorodychne, Mazanivka, Kurulka, Chepil, Virnopillia, Nova Dmytrivka, and other towns and villages and conducted an airstrike near Bohorodychne.
Russian units on the Donetsk front fired on civilian and military infrastructure in and around Donetske, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Hryhorivka, Ivano-Dariivka, Spirne, and other towns and villages. Russian forces conducted assault operations near Hryhorivka, where fighting is still continuing. The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled Russian assault operations near Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, and Serebrianka.
On the Bakhmut front, Russian occupying forces fired on the areas around Berestove, Kurdiumivka, Vesela Dolyna, Soledar, Bakhmut, Vershyna and Travneve, and on the territory of the Vuhlehirska Thermal Power Plant (TPP). Russian attempts to conduct assault operations in the areas around Novoluhanske, Semyhiria and the Vuhlehirska TPP were unsuccessful and the Russian troops retreated. They inflicted rocket and air strikes near Berestove.
Russian occupying forces used mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on Ukrainian positions in the areas around Kamianka, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaky, and Prechystivka on the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia fronts. The Russians conducted airstrikes in the vicinity of Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled all Russian attempts to storm the areas around Kamianka, Novomykhailivka, and Vuhledar, forcing the Russians to retreat with losses.
Russian forces deployed electronic warfare equipment in order to disrupt Ukrainian satellite communication channels.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, units of Ukrainian and Russian Armed Forces are firing on one another using tubed and rocket artillery along the entire frontline. Russian aircraft conducted an airstrike near Potomkine. In addition, Russian forces used UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance in order to establish the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and adjust fire.
