Russian invaders officially admit that they deliberately targeted civilians in Vinnytsia

A day after the rocket attack on Vinnytsia, the Russian Ministry of Defence has officially stated that the invaders deliberately hit civilian sites in the city.

Quote: "Yesterday, high-precision Kalibr missiles were fired at the officers’ garrison building in Vinnytsia - a meeting of the Ukrainian Air Force command with representatives of foreign arms suppliers was taking place there at that moment."

Details: In their statement, the occupiers boast that "as a result of the strike, those attending the meeting were killed."

Background:

• On the morning of 14 July, the Russian army hit the centre of Vinnytsia with high-precision rockets. As of that evening, the death toll was 23. 64 people are in hospital, 5 in critical condition.
• One of those killed was 4-year-old Liza; her mother was taken to intensive care. Little Liza, who had Down’s syndrome, featured in a video with First Lady Olena Zelenska just before the Christmas holidays in 2021.
• Since the rocket attack in Vinnytsia, the bodies of two children and 11 adults have not yet been identified. 18 people are missing, with relatives continuing to search for them.
• President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the missile strike a terrorist attack.
