Security Service of Ukraine detained the occupiers’ forward observers in the Mykolaiv region

The security service of Ukraine has detained agents who served as artillery forward observers for the Russian forces and adjusted the fire for the recent attacks by the invading forces against Mykolaiv and Bashtanka.

Quote: "The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed agents working for the Russian invaders, whose information about the deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the location of infrastructure facilities was used by the Russian forces for recent missile strikes against Mykolaiv and Bashtanka."
Details: It turned out that the enemy attacks were corrected by local residents, who transmitted the information collected to their handler through closed communication channels.
The perpetrators were detained, and during the search, the Security Service found computer equipment and mobile phones with evidence of the crime. Investigative actions are continuing.
Background:
- On the morning of 5 July, it was reported that Russian troops had carried out missile strikes on Mykolaiv.
- Also, Russian troops fired 6 rockets at the city of Bashtanka, not far from Mykolaiv. Some residential buildings in Mykolaiv itself were destroyed by the incoming rockets.
