Russian missile strike on Vinnytsia: bodies of 22 dead found, only 6 were identified

As a result of Russian missile strikes on Vinnytsia on Thursday, as of 5 p.m., the bodies of 22 dead were found, only 6 of them were identified, and 39 people are considered missing.

The police found two missing persons among the wounded. Unfortunately, one missing person was found among the dead. In total, 39 people remain on the list of missing persons as a result of missile strikes on Vinnytsia."
Details: According to the National Police, about a hundred people received injuries with various degrees of severity.
The strikes damaged more than 50 buildings for various purposes and more than 40 cars.
It is reported that the police resricted and took this area under protection so that law enforcement officers could carefully collect the necessary evidence of Russian Federation’s war crimes and protect the intact premises from possible looters.
Background:
- On 14 July at 11:00 the Russian forces launched a missile attack on the centre of Vinnytsia, resulting in fires. According to various sources, there were from 2 to 4 explosions.
- According to Serhii Borzov, the head of the Vinnytsia State Administration, 4 more missiles were shot down by Ukrainian air defence forces over the region.
- The Office of the President reported that the attack on Vinnytsia was carried out by the Russians with Calibre missiles, which were fired from a submarine in the Black Sea.
- Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, has called this strike a terrorist attack.
- Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan, referring to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, claims that the missile attack on Vinnytsia, which killed 20 civilians, was allegedly carried out on a "nationalists’ accommodation point."
