President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that the principle of inevitability of punishment should be extended to people whose decisions led to crimes against Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Those people whose decisions led to this series of crimes (as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation - ed.) should not hide behind the so-called immunity of officials. The principle of inevitability of punishment should also be applied to these people."

Details: Zelenskyy has added that during the full-scale invasion, starting on 24 February, 34,039 crimes related to Russian aggression have been registered in Ukraine.

The President also believes that it is necessary not only to punish the guilty, but also to help the victims and rebuild everything that was destroyed in Ukraine during the aggression.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "It is necessary to provide full assistance to the victims of crimes and to rebuild everything destroyed as a result of aggression. The aggressor must lose both on the battlefield and at the level of meanings, so that the war becomes a heavy loss primarily for the aggressor, and not for the victims."

Previously: On 14 July, Denys Maliuska, the Minister of Justice of Ukraine, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin can be judged for the crime of aggression, but for this a separate tribunal should be created. Maliuska explained that we are talking about a separate tribunal specifically for Russian aggression.
