Russia regroups its Black Sea fleet – Pivden (South) Operational Command

In the Black Sea, near the Ukrainian coast, Russia has once again regrouped the ships in its Black Sea fleet.

Quote: "The enemy fleet has once again been regrouped.

Currently, there are 3 missile ships and 2 [missile-carrying - ed.] submarines in the waters of the Black Sea.

Their total array comprises 32 Kalibr cruise missiles, which pose a threat for the entire territory of Ukraine.

Additionally, there are 2 [Russian - ed.] dock landing ships [in the waters of the Black Sea - ed.]."

Background:

• On 6 June, it was reported that two Russian missile ships and a submarine (with a total array of 20 Kalibr cruise missiles) were on standby in the Black Sea.
• On 4 June, it became known that a flotilla of five large landing ships gathered from the Russian Navy’s three fleets had departed for the Black Sea.
• On 12 June, Russia added two large landing ships to reinforce its presence in the Black Sea near the Ukrainian coast.
