Russians have launched a new wave of hidden mobilisation in Mariupol, offering people jobs as fire inspectors.
Source: Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol on Telegram
Details: According to Andriushchenko, Russian invaders advertise employment as fire inspectors for people aged 25-30 years. To get the first work experience, people are asked to go to a ‘training session’ in Donetsk for a few months.
Andriushchenko advised Mariupol residents to avoid any employment that involves taking an oath to the invaders.
Quote: "Our people posed as applicants for ‘employment’ to establish the facts. They have been told that if they accept the position, they will be sent to Donetsk for ‘training’ for a couple of months, due to their lack of experience. This is consistent with previous insider information about the occupation authorities’ plan for hidden mobilisation in Mariupol."
Reminder:
- Local authorities called on Ukrainians to immediately leave occupied Mariupol for their safety.
- A video, published online for the first time, shows how the filtration process was organised in Mariupol at the beginning of the occupation.
