Belarusian border guard made his way to Ukraine under the shelling by his people to fight against Russian Federation

A Belarusian border guard violated the state border in order to join the Ukrainian Defence Forces in the war against Russia.

Details: According to Demchenko, recently the border patrol of one of theVolyn border detachment units has detained a man without documents. He has crossed the border with Ukraine illegally, making his way from Belarus.

Quote: "The detainee said that he is a Belarusian border guard and is serving in the Brest border group. He said that he decided to commit violations in order to join the Defence Forces of Ukraine in the war against the Russian aggressor.

The man also said that he had like-minded people willing to resist Russia. He went to Ukraine with one of them, but they were discovered on the way to the border, chased and shot at, so only he was able to cross the state border."

Details: Demchenko added that the information provided by the detained citizen of the Republic of Belarus is currently being checked, following this a decision would be made on his fate.
