Russians strike Sumy region nearly 60 times over past 24 hours

The Russians fired 58 times at four hromadas [Amalgamated Territorial Communities - ed.] in Sumy Oblast using various types of weapons on Tuesday, 12 July.

Details: Mortar fire targeting the hromada of Shalyhyne started at 10:00. There were fourteen mortar rounds.

Four more mortar attacks occurred at 15:30.

The Russians started firing mortars on the hromada of Bilopillia at around 18:00, with 20 strikes.

The Russians shelled the hromada of Znob-Novhorodske with tubed artillery at about 18:00. There were 13 strikes.

The Russians fired 2 volleys from multiple-launch rocket systems at the hromada of Krasnopillia at 18:00.

Meanwhile, mortars were fired at another settlement in the hromada with 5 strikes.

A residential civilian building was hit following the strike.

"Fortunately, people have not been injured," Zhyvytskyi reported.
