Russian attack on Chasiv Yar: death toll rises to 38

As of 15:00 on Tuesday 12 July, rescue workers have retrieved 38 bodies from under the rubble of the destroyed apartment block in Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast.

Quote: "38 bodies, including one child (a boy aged about 9), have been retrieved from under the debris of the destroyed 5-storey apartment block in the town of Chasiv Yar. Nine people have been rescued from under the debris. Over 400 tonnes of the damaged elements of the building have been cleared away; the process is ongoing."
Details: In total there are 57 people and 8 pieces of equipment working at the scene. The local authorities have provided two truck cranes and two loaders. There is an ambulance on duty nearby.
Background:
- On 9 July the occupiers launched an attack on Chasiv Yar and hit an apartment block.
- Russia’s Ministry of Defence claimed that the missile attack on Chasiv Yar had supposedly "killed over three hundred nationalists".
