Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, has once again claimed that NATO intends to attack Russia "via Ukraine and via Belarus".

Source: the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel, which covers Lukashenko’s activity

Quote: "Western countries, led by the USA, are destroying the global security system consistently, methodically, and even against their own national interests and the will of their people…

NATO pretends to enhance Europe’s security and conduct defence exercises, while in reality it is creating an ‘armoured fist’ that is obviously designed for anything but defence. The military sees this. Moreover, lately (yesterday we discussed this with the Russian president in detail), they have been making strategic plans to attack Russia. And the main direction of the impact (history is repeating itself) is through Ukraine and through Belarus."

Details: Lukashenko also said that "the new crusaders" from NATO had decided that "the right moment for another march to the East" is now approaching.

It should be mentioned that Belarus puts its territories and airspace at Russia’s disposal, and Russian military forces have launched attacks on Ukraine from Belarusian territory.

Background:

  •       Lukashenko has repeatedly claimed that Ukraine is prepared to attack both Russia and Belarus.
