Intelligence overhears Russian: If I get to the rear, I won't go back to war

The Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has released an intercepted conversation about how a Russian soldier is avoiding going back to the war in Ukraine.

Details: The man on the recording says that if he gets to the rear, he will not go back.

His wife then tells a story she heard from her friend about how a lot of military personnel from Belgorod had written reports requesting to return home, but they were taken to Ukraine anyway. The soldiers jumped out of the vehicles and ran 15 kilometres, then called their relatives and asked them to write statements to the prosecutor's office.

According to the woman, the people there "kicked up a fuss" – and they will continue to. Apparently "a movement has started" to defend the men.
