Details: The prosecutor's office proved that a native of the city of Sviatohirsk in the Donetsk region in March 2017 voluntarily joined the so-called "Republican Guard of the DPR". There he also collaborated with representatives of the Russian FSB, and 2 years later he entered military service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He passed on to the Russian special services data on the location of equipment, fuel and lubricants, and weapons, as well as on low-security places where a military unit could enter its territory.
Quote: "The accused admitted his guilt in full, and also contributed to the pre-trial investigation and provided detailed testimony against other participants from the [so-called] "DPR" (Donetsk People’s Republic). Taking into account these circumstances, the court sentenced the man to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property."
Reminder:
- A native of Zaporizhzhia region provided the invaders with information about the positions of the Ukrainian military, in return for payment.
