Quote from Oleg Kryuchkov: "Persons unknown have beaten up a serviceman, a professional soldier, in Sudak. His clothes, which featured Z symbols, were the reason for the attack."
Details: Kryuchkov said the Russian soldier, who had been undergoing treatment in a local sanatorium, was attacked near the waterfront. There were apparently three assailants.
"The man has filed a complaint with the police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is already dealing with this. The attackers are being sought. The response will be extremely harsh," said Kryuchkov.
Earlier on Monday (11 July), Andrei Medvedev, the deputy speaker of the Moscow City Duma, claimed, citing his social media followers, that "Russian soldiers" undergoing treatment in a sanatorium had been beaten up in Sudak at about 21:30 on Sunday 10 July.
