Kharkiv shelling: death toll rises to 6

The number of civilians killed in the Russian shelling of Kharkiv on the morning of 11 July has reached 6, including a 16-year-old boy and his father.

Quote: "According to the investigation, at around 10:00 on 11 July 2022, the troops of the aggressor country [i.e., Russia - ed.] used multiple-launch rocket systems to fire on residential buildings in the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv."
Details: The homes of Kharkiv residents were hit by the Russian shells, as was a shipping mall and a tyre fitting shop.
According to the latest information, 31 people were injured – including 2 children aged 4 and 16. Six civilians were killed; among them, a 17-year-old boy and his father who were driving past the tyre fitting shop when it came under Russian fire. Their bodies were mutilated by the blast.
Earlier: On the night of 10-11 July, three blasts were heard in the city of Kharkiv; the first one took place at 03:32. According to the State Emergency Service, a Russian rocket hit a six-storey apartment building in central Kharkiv. Criminal proceedings have been initiated by the prosecutor’s office.
