Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, said that the present situation in Ukraine should not be considered as Russia taking an "operational pause" as today alone Russian forces conducted 34 airstrikes on Ukraine.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Over this past week, there has been a lot of talk about the so-called ‘operational pause’ that the occupiers have supposedly taken in Donbas and in other regions of Ukraine. The 34 airstrikes that Russian aircraft conducted [on the territory of Ukraine - ed.] today alone should be a clear answer to everyone who talks about this ‘pause’.

The Ukrainian army is holding on, it’s holding firm and repelling Russian assaults across different fronts. And yet a lot remains to be done to make sure the losses Russia suffers truly force it to take a pause.

And I don’t mean a pause before the occupiers can renew their offensive, but a pause before they flee from our native Ukrainian land. And I am grateful to all our soldiers who are ensuring that this time draws closer and closer."
