Zelenskyy: 4 members of 1 family of among civilians killed in Serhiivka

Four members of the same family were among civilians killed in a Russian missile strike on a nine-storey apartment building in Serhiivka.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Four members of the same family were killed. A 12-year-old boy called Dmytro was killed."

Details: Zelenskyy emphasised that around 160 civilians were living in the apartment building that was destroyed. There were no weapons, no military equipment or ammunition there.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "I insist: this was a deliberate, purposeful act of terror perpetrated by Russia, not an accidental missile strike."

Earlier: Zelenskyy had earlier stated that Russia had deliberately launched an anti-ship missile on the apartment building in Serhiivka, in Odesa Oblast.

Background:

• On the night of 30 June - 1 July, Russia launched several missiles on Odesa Oblast. One of the missiles hit a nine-storey apartment building. Other missiles hit a recreation centre.
• Pivden (South) Operational Command reported that Russia launched three X-22 missiles on the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district in Odesa Oblast from the Black Sea.
• Odesa Oblast Military Administration said that 21 civilians were killed in the Russian missile strike on the village of Serhiivka.
