"EUROPEAN PRAVDA" — FRIDAY, 1 JULY 2022, 17:09
As a result of a missile attack on the village of Serhiivka, Odesa Oblast, on Friday night, a Children's Rehabilitation Center belonging to Moldova was damaged and one of its employees was killed.
According to "European Pravda", Moldovan Health Minister Alla Nemerenko reported this on Facebook.
She noted that the centre was intended for children from Moldova with health problems, who could relax and receive qualified assistance on the Black Sea coast.
Windows were blown out of the building in the missile attacks. Employees of the centre who lived in the building hit by one of the missiles were also injured: five people were injured and one was killed.
The minister noted that, since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the centre has not worked and few people were in it. The victims were in one of the buildings most affected by the shelling.
"It was a renovated centre with good conditions. We were preparing to open it after the pandemic but then the war started. And these peaceful people made the children's rest better. They selflessly and lovingly engaged in their rehabilitation. We wish them a speedy recovery and extend our condolences to the deceased's family. There is nothing worse than war," noted the head of the Moldovan Ministry of Health.
As reported, a Russian missile hit was recorded in Odesa Oblast at night. Later, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said that the Russians were behind the missile strikes on the village of Serhiivka.
According to the latest data from the rescuers, 20 people were killed as a result of a Russian missile strike on 1 July in the village of Serhiivka, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, Odesa Oblast.
