In Odesa Oblast, 2 July has been declared a day of mourning for those killed in Russian missile strikes on the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District on 1 July.

Quote from Odesa City Council: "Due to the tragedy that occurred because of a night missile strike by Russian strategic aviation aircraft in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District of Odesa Oblast that resulted in fatalities, 2 July has been declared a day of mourning for the victims in the region."
Details: It is reported that on the day of mourning, national flags will be lowered to half-mast on the buildings and structures of the state authorities, local self-government bodies, state-owned enterprises, institutions and organisations throughout Odesa Oblast.
Residents are advised to refrain from holding entertainment, concert events and sports competitions and TV channels and radio stations are advised to make appropriate program changes.
Background:
- As a result of Russian missile strikes on the village of Serhiivka, Odesa Oblast, on 1 July, a 9-storey residential building and a recreation centre were destroyed and at least 20 residents were killed. There are children among the dead.
