Missile strike on apartment building and recreation centres in Odesa Oblast: death toll rises to 18

As of 08:30 on 1 July, the death toll has risen to 18 civilians – including two children – following Russian missile strikes on the village of Serhiivka in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Odesa Oblast; up to 30 civilians sustained injuries.

Quote from the SES: "The bodies of two people were found during the clearing of the rubble of a nine-storey apartment building in the village of Serhiivka. Overall, 16 people were killed and 30 injured (including three children) as a result of the attack. [Search and rescue - ed.] operations continue."

Details: Two civilians (including a child) were killed and one injured as a result of a Russian missile strike on a recreation centre in Serhiivka. Rescue and search operations continue.

Bratchuk reported that as of 06:00, 14 people had been killed and 30 injured – including three children – following a Russian missile strike on a high-rise apartment building.

Russian forces launched three X-22 missiles from the Black Sea, striking the village of Serhiivka in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Odesa Oblast.

Earlier: On the night of 30 June-1 July Bratchuk reported that a Russian missile had hit Odesa Oblast, killing civilians.

Later, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that the Russians had launched missile strikes on the village of Serhiivka.
