Quote: "In Kherson and some cities in the region, information has been coming out that the military occupiers are bringing their families over in an attempt to convince the locals that they will be there forever.

The occupiers’ families make no secret of their admiration for the standard of living in the Kherson region, which, even after more than 100 days of occupation, is many times higher than in their native Russian regions."

Details: It is reported that the situation in Kherson Oblast remains difficult.

The Russian invaders are building additional lines of defence, building barriers and mining the area in order to stop Ukrainian units advancing eastward, but they are using Soviet mines made in the 1950s that had been stored in their warehouses pending their destruction.

So several Russian sappers have already been injured by these old munitions while attempting to lay minefields.

In order to improve the tactical situation, the Russian invaders are preparing to force water obstacles.

At night and in the morning on 9 June, the occupiers fired on the Inhulska and Bereznehuvatska hromady [communities] in the Mykolaiv region. One person was killed, and houses were damaged.

During the night, Ukrainian missile and artillery units destroyed 13 missiles, 2 Msta-C self-propelled howitzers and vehicles belonging to the invaders. The aggressors’ final losses are being clarified.

In the Black Sea, the aggressors’ naval group continues training, but 3 surface ships and 1 submarine are ready to strike the territory of Ukraine.

They are equipped with 28 cruise missiles. There are also 4 large landing ships on combat duty.

Thus the threat of missile strikes remains and the possibility of a naval landing cannot be ruled out.
