Occupiers in the South are forced to use hryvnias because Ukrainians won’t accept roubles

People living in Russian-occupied territories are continuing to resist the region’s transition to the rouble zone, meaning the occupiers are being forced to use hryvnias, says the National Resistance Center.

Details: Despite the collaborators’ claims that "Russia is here forever", the occupiers have still not managed to establish a functioning administration and are having problems in the financial sector.
Local people reportedly do not consider roubles a currency, so most items can only be purchased with hryvnias. In addition, entrepreneurs are refusing to operate under Russian law.
Because of this, the occupying administrations are inviting entrepreneurs from occupied Crimea.
Reminder: The Russian occupying administration was in a hurry to introduce the rouble as the official currency in the occupied Kherson Oblast by 1 May, but still has not managed to do so.
