The situation in regions: a missile strike on Zhytomyr Region, numerous instances of shelling in Donbas

The Russian invaders continue to actively shell the east and south of Ukraine, resulting in casualties in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts, and the occupiers are already transporting their families to cities in the Kherson region.

Details: In Dnipropetrovsk Region, the night saw no air-raid sirens, but there was shelling. The Russian occupying forces struck again with artillery at the Zelenodolsk community. There are damaged houses, the consequences are being clarified. No one was injured.
Sumy Region: the border area was shelled by mortars and artillery late in the evening. It was quiet at night; there weren’t even any air-raid sirens.
Zhytomyr Oblast was hit by a missile strike at night. A building was damaged. There are no casualties and fatalities. Details are being clarified.
Kharkiv Region - there was shelling again overnight. Fires broke out in a cafe, shop and school library as a result of Russian strikes with MLRS in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, two people were killed and four were injured. Chuhuiv, Bohodukhiv and Izium districts came under fire in the region. This information is being clarified.
Luhansk Region: Sievierodonetsk is at the epicentre of events. In the evening, the occupiers twice aimed at Azot [Located in Sievierodonetsk, this business is a mineral nitrogen fertilisers manufacturer]. At least two units on different sides of the chemical plant were damaged. One of them is an ammonia production unit. The occupiers fired mortars, artillery and rocket-propelled grenades at Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Pryvillia, Orikhove, Ustynivka, Hirske, Katerynivka, Bilohorivka, Mykolaivka, Komyshuvakha and Pavlohrad near Sievierodonetsk. The occupiers carried out an air strike in Toshkivka. 4 people died, 5 were wounded in the region.
Donetsk region: there are active hostilities along the entire front line. The Russian occupying forces fired missiles at Bakhmut, Kurakhove, the village of Shchurove, and used heavy artillery on Avdiivka, Marynka, Krasnohorivka. During the day 4 people died and 11 were injured. The region remains without gas and partly without water and electricity. Toretsk was added to more than 330 settlements where there is no electricity supply - the 110 kW line was damaged during the shelling. Evacuation of the population from the controlled part of the oblast continues.
Mykolaiv Region: at night the occupiers fired on the Inhulska hromada community. The shelling was mostly outside the settlements. There are no casualties or fatalities. Shelling continues in the Bereznehuvatska hromada [community]. One person has died. Houses have been damaged. Mykolaiv District: overnight a power line was damaged as a result of shelling of the Kutsurubska hromada in the village of Prybuzke. There are no casualties.
Kherson Oblast: the situation remains tense. Loud explosions were heard during the day and night in Kherson and in the suburbs. There has been no mobile and Internet connection for more than a week in Kherson and in many local communities. There are problems with cash withdrawals and pensions in particular. In return, the occupation authorities are announcing the launch of their Internet, which will block access to Ukrainian sites. In Kherson and large cities, information has emerged that the occupiers are transporting their families to these cities.
The night passed relatively calmly in Volyn, Zakarpattia, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Poltava and Kyiv regions.
