The Russian military fired on Stepnohirsk in the Vasylivka district of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, hitting a kindergarten, and wounding a man.

Details: In total, on 6 June, from 18:00 to 19:00, 8 Russian shells hit Stepnohirsk. The housing stock of the third district of the city was destroyed. One person was injured and taken to hospital.

According to Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, the Russian occupying forces fire on the settlement of Stepnohirsk almost every day.

Since the beginning of March, there has been no centralised water supply in the city-type village. The wells are located 15 km from the village, in the temporarily occupied territory. There are power outages due to constant shelling in the village.

Before the war, more than 5,000 people used to live in Stepnohirsk, now half of them [remain].
