Quote from Zelenskyy: "Our heroes are not giving up their positions in Sievierodonetsk. Fierce street fighting is continuing in the city.
Lysychansk, Sloviansk, Bakhmut, Sviatohirsk, Avdiivka, Kurakhove, and other areas where Russian strikes are taking place are the hottest points of confrontation today.
The Russian army is trying to deploy additional forces on the Donbas front, but on day 103, Ukrainian Donbas is standing, standing firmly."
Details: Zelenskyy also said that since 24 February, 17,864 combatants have been awarded Ukrainian state awards.
Background: Earlier on Monday, 6 June, Zelenskyy said that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces withdrew from Sievierodonetsk, there would be far more losses when they tried to take it back.
