Artillery battle in Sievierodonetsk continues – Military-Civil Administration

Fighting is continuing on the streets of Sievierodonetsk, with an artillery battle between the Ukrainian defenders and the Russian invaders.

Quote: "Heavy fighting continues in Sievierodonetsk, right on the streets, which is very difficult. There’s also artillery fighting.

Of course, we have hope and we have faith in our Armed Forces, but no one is thinking of abandoning the city, and we have to liberate it."

Details: According to the mayor of Sievierodonetsk, the Russian troops outnumber the Ukrainian Armed Forces: "They are throwing more and more troops into the battle. This complicates the situation."

Striuk added that the extent of destruction in Sievierodonetsk can be compared to that in Mariupol or Popasna.
