Armed Forces of Ukraine keep control in Sievierodonetsk and do not allow the Russian Federation to seize the road - General Staff report

The Ukrainian military does not allow the Russian occupying forces to take control of the Bakhmut-Sievierodonetsk road; [Ukrainian defenders] also control Sievierodonetsk.

Details: On the Donetsk front, the aggressors’ main efforts are focused on trying to establish full control over the city of Sievierodonetsk and blockade Ukrainian troops in the Lysychansk area. Ukrainian soldiers thwart the invaders’ attempts to take control of the Bakhmut-Sievierodonetsk road.
Quote from the General Staff: "Our soldiers keep control in the city of Sievierodonetsk, the fighting continues in the eastern part of the city. They [Ukrainian defenders] repulsed the enemy's assault in the areas of Novookhtyrka and Voronove."
More details: On the Lyman front, in order to destroy fortifications, the Russian occupying forces fired at the Armed Forces in the areas of Tetianivka and Piskunivka, using mortars and artillery. Russian soldiers inflicted a missile strike on Mykolaivka.
On the Sloviansk front, the invaders are preparing to resume assault operations in order to improve the tactical situation. To replenish the losses of the group of troops, they train personnel on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian units successfully repulsed the assault in the area of Dovhenke. Ukrainian soldiers inflicted losses on the Russian occupiers. The Russian troops retreated.
On the Bakhmut front, in order to support the actions of units, the Russian occupying forces have been firing on the settlements of Berestove, Fedorivka and Myronivka, using artillery, rocket artillery, and mortars. Russian soldiers carried out the strike on the area near Rotiv using Ka-52 helicopters.
In order to reconnoitre the routes of advance and clarify the positions of Ukrainian troops, the invaders use sabotage and reconnaissance groups operating in the area of Bilohorivka.
On the Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russian occupying forces continue to fight in the border areas north of the city of Kharkiv.
Aggressors’ repair and restoration units are working to restore the destroyed railway bridge over the Oskil River near the Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi railway station.
On the Kharkiv front, the Russian occupying forces are conducting defensive battles in order to restrain the advance of units of the Defence Forces [of Ukraine] to the state border and maintain control over the Belgorod-Kupiansk road. In the areas of settlements of Shestakove, Peremoha and Bairak invaders carried out remote mining of areas.
On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the invaders haven’t conducted active hostilities. But they carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Bohoiavlenka, Volodymyrivka, Malynivka and Shcherbaky.
The occupying forces strengthened the grouping of troops to the battalion tactical group on the Zaporizhzhia front.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russian troopas are concentrating their efforts on maintaining the occupied positions. They prepare for the intensification of hostilities.
On the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna front, the occupying forces undertook no active combat operations.
