The Security Service of Ukraine has obtained information that Russian occupiers were given permission to open fire on civilians they deem suspicious at checkpoints in Kherson Oblast.
Source: Security Service of Ukraine Press Centre, citing an intercepted conversation between two militants from the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic.
Details: According to the Security Service of Ukraine, the aforementioned militants patrol two neighbouring Russian-controlled checkpoints in Kherson Oblast.
A militant with the call sign "grey-haired" said: "I was told: if someone seems suspicious, no questions, just f***ing incinerate them…I have an order from the major: if you see a car or a truck, carrying apples or whatever, you look at it, you ask: ‘What are you carrying?’ If the person is suspicious, f****ing shoot them immediately, no questions."
His interlocutor clarified: "…Yeah, from your side you’ll incinerate them first, but if you don’t manage, then we will?"
