Russian troops pushed back on Sloviansk front – Ministry of Defence

Ukrainian defenders have repulsed an attack by Russian troops on the Sloviansk front.

Quote: "The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue carrying out a defensive operation and are destroying the enemy’s military equipment and personnel.
According to the most recent information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the course of the past 24 hours alone, our troops have successfully repulsed seven enemy attacks on the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts and destroyed four tanks, three artillery systems, eight armoured combat vehicles and three other motor vehicles."
Details: According to the Ministry of Defence spokesman, Russian troops had regrouped and were mounting an offensive on Velyka Komyshuvakha, Virnopillia, Dibrivne, Dolyna and Bohorodychne but the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed the Russian attacks.
In addition, the Air Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have shot down a Russian Ka-52 helicopter and a UAV.
