As of the morning of 6 June, several Russian ships with cruise missiles on board were in the Black Sea, and there is still a threat of the aggressors landing in Odesa.
Source: Serhii Bratchuk, spokesman for the Odesa Oblast Military Administration
Quote from Bratchuk: "Ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation continue to carry out certain manoeuvres and regroupings.
It is now known that there is one surface ship and one submarine with cruise missiles on board, as well as several large amphibious ships.
There is a constant risk of a naval landing, but so far there is no special preparation of the Russian occupying forces for the active phase of a landing military operation."
Details: According to Bratchuk, the invaders are still increasing their combat capabilities on Zmiinyi (Snake) Island, but Ukrainian fighters are also conducting deterrent measures.
The Odesa Oblast Military Administration spokesman added that the main tactic of the Russians has been missile strikes.
Background:
On 3 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, said that one of the obstacles to exporting Ukrainian crops through the port of Odesa is that Russia can use this corridor to attack the city.
On the morning of 4 June, the Russian army conducted a missile strike on the warehouses of an agricultural enterprise in the Odesa region, injuring two people.
