A Russian missile has been shot down in the skies over Poltava Oblast.

Background:
- Five explosions rang out on Kyiv's Left Bank around 6am on 5 June, with the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, reporting missile strikes on infrastructure in the Darnytsia and Dnipro districts of the city.
- According to preliminary reports, Russian troops launched missiles from Tu-95 aircraft from the Caspian Sea. One missile was destroyed.
