Russian general killed in Luhansk region - media

Russian Major General Roman Kutuzov has been killed in Luhansk Oblast.

Details: According to Radio Svoboda, which cited Russian Telegram channels, the general was killed in the village of Mykolaivka, Popasna district, Luhansk Oblast.
According to the same sources, Roman Kutuzov is the fourth Russian general to be killed in Ukraine.
Meduza said Kutuzov's death was reported by Alexander Sladkov, a correspondent for the Russian propaganda TV and radio broadcasting company VDTRK. According to him, the general died "leading [his subordinates] into an attack".
It has not yet been reported which unit Kutuzov was leading. He was mentioned on the Russian Defence Ministry’s website as acting commander of the 29th Combined Arms Army in 2019, and [as commander of] the 5th Combined Arms Army in 2017.
Background:
Recently, the Ukrainian military have killed Colonel Vladimir Ivanov from the Russian Ministry of Defence press service; Captain Aleksandr Vyguliar, the company commander of the 106th Guards Airborne Division; and Lieutenant Colonel Aleksandr Dosiagaev, the commander of the assault battalion of the 104th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment.
On 10 May, Lt. Gen. Scott Berrier, director of the US Defence Intelligence Agency, said that at least eight Russian generals had been killed in Ukraine since the start of the large-scale war.
