Quote: "On 5 June, Russia carried out another act of nuclear terrorism. At 05:30, a Russian cruise missile, which might have been a Kalibr missile, flew dangerously low over the Pivdennoukrainska NPP.
Russia continues to threaten the nuclear security of the Ukrainian NPPs and is threatening the entire world with a new nuclear disaster. The Ruscists [Russians - ed.] still cannot comprehend that even the smallest fragment of a missile could cause a nuclear disaster and a radiation leak if it hits an operating power unit."
Details: Energoatom believes that the missile was flying towards Kyiv, where explosions were heard on the morning of 5 June.
Background: Around the same time, explosions were heard in the Darnytsia and Dniprovskyi neighbourhoods of Kyiv, where Russian missiles hit municipal infrastructure.
