Expensive Russian drone shot down by Armed Forces of Ukraine

On 4 June, soldiers of the Pivden [South] Air Command shot down an invaders’ Forpost reconnaissance and strike drone.

Details: The UAV was exploring the Black Sea coast.

After it was struck, it fell into the Black Sea.

For reference: Forpost is the most expensive unmanned aerial vehicle in the service of the Russian Federation. Its value is estimated at $7 million.

Background: In May, Ukrainian defenders shot down another expensive Forpost Russian reconnaissance and armed unmanned aerial vehicle.
