Quote: "In Kherson Oblast, in recent days, the Russians have started to sharply pressure the employees of state and municipal institutions to re-register enterprises and institutions to ensure the transition to the ‘ruble zone.’
The pressure is on state and municipal enterprises: from Khersonoblenergo [Kherson region’s utility provider – ed.] to hospitals and educational institutions.
Moreover, the pension fund and the bank of Russian occupying forces have opened in Kherson, where you can register for pensions and open accounts."
Details: At the same time, from 1 July, the Russians will close Ukrposhta [the Ukrainian post-office], and earlier they closed Ukrainian banks.
As a result, many retirees can’t receive Ukrainian pensions.
People who decide to stay in Oblast are forced to start receiving a salary in rubles, regardless of their preference.
Quote: "Also, there is a general offer to receive 10 thousand rubles in cash [approximately 190$] for the poor and retirees. Of course, in exchange for a passport.
As a result, we have a situation that if you want to live - take rubles and get a passport. Such actions are a war crime."
