Volunteer fighter from France is killed in Ukraine

A French volunteer fighter has been killed in combat in Ukraine.
According to European Pravda, this was announced by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which released a statement that has been quoted by a number of media outlets.
"We were saddened to learn that a French citizen was fatally wounded in the fighting in Ukraine. We offer his family our condolences," the Diplomatic Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Which sector of the front he was on and other details about the identity of the deceased have yet to be confirmed.
We recall that a journalist working for the French channel BFMTV, who was reporting on the evacuation, was killed in Luhansk Oblast on 30 May when the evacuation buses were shelled by the Russians.
According to Georgian media estimates as of the end of May, 11 volunteers from Georgia who fought in the ranks of the Foreign Legion have been killed since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
