Quote: "A critical situation has developed at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in terms of ensuring stable and safe operation of the plant. There are practically no spare parts or consumables...
Work at the plant is currently being carried out on a shift basis. Shifts last for one week.
The Russian management of the station is studying the possibility of connecting the station to the Russian power grid. However, this is not possible due to technical reasons.
Details: It is reported that the Russian military personnel involved in the protection of the Zaporizhzhia NPP are mostly being accommodated in the Ukraina hotel and in the premises of the station's health care centre.
The occupiers are also using flats belonging to evacuated Ukrainians.
There is a strict access regime at the station. They (the occupying forces) are confiscating almost all personal belongings, especially telephones, from the workers on each shift.
During the capture of the station a Russian shell exploded near one of the power units.
This resulted in an oil leak. The damage was repaired, but personnel were forced to pour spent oil into the circuit.
