General Staff: Ukrainian Armed Forces push Russian troops back on 4 fronts

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repulsed Russian attacks on Sloviansk, Sievierodonetsk, and Kryvyi Rih fronts, as well as near the villages of Krasnohorivka and Poltavka; Russian troops have been forced to retreat.

Details: On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the Belarusian Armed Forces are focused on reinforcing the security of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

Meanwhile, Belarusian special forces stationed in the areas near the border with Ukraine [on the territory of Belarus - ed.] have been rotated. A meeting of communications specialists and engineering and technical staff was held as part of the overall inspection of the combat readiness of the Belarusian Armed Forces.

There is a threat of missile strikes on Ukraine from the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

Russian troops have not undertaken any active combat operations on the Sivershchyna front, but have launched a missile strike on civilian infrastructure around the area of Huddle, Sumy Oblast. Russian troops have also shelled Bachivsk, Khodyne, and Slavhorod in the Sumy Oblast.

On the Slobozhanshchyna front, Russia continues preparations for an offensive, replenishing weapons, equipment, and other supplies from the territory of the Russian Federation. Russian troops are firing from artillery and MLRS on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in order to deplete their offensive potential.

On the Kharkiv front, Russia did not undertake active combat operations and has focused its main efforts on the deterrence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian troops shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas around Bashkirovka, Mospino, Ruska Lozova, Pechenihy, and Mykhailivka and conducted an airstrike on Nove.

On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces have focused their efforts on combat engineering tasks. Civilian infrastructure was shelled in and around Dibrivne, Kurulka, Virnopillia, Chervona Poliana, and other towns and villages. Russian army aircraft conducted an airstrike on the area around Dovhenke. Russian troops attempted to storm Bohorodychne and Dolyna, but were unsuccessful and were forced to retreat after suffering losses inflicted by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

On the Donetsk front, Russian occupation forces are continuing to fire from artillery along the entire line of contact.

On the Lyman front, Russia shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas around Yarove, Shchurove, Staryi Karavan, and Raihorodok. Russian troops stormed Studenok; fighting is continuing there.

On the Sievierodonetsk front, Russian occupation forces are continuing to fire on the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and on civilian infrastructure in and around Sievierodonetsk, Borivske, Ustynivka, and Lysychansk. Russian assault aircraft launched airstrikes near the village of Myrna Dolyna. Russian forces attempted to storm Metiolkine and Bilohorivka, but were unsuccessful and were forced to retreat to their previously held positions.

Fighting is continuing in the Sievierodonetsk city centre.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian troops are shelling the areas around Pokrovske, New-York, Zolote, Komyshuvakha, Mykolaivka, Berestove, Bilohorivka, and Vrubivka. They attempted to storm Vrubivka, but were not successful.

Russian assault and army aircraft conducted airstrikes on infrastructure in the area of Vidrodzhennia, Roty, Novoluhanske, and Dolomitne.

On the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivske, and Zaporizhzhia fronts, Russia did not undertake active combat operations but continued to shell civilian infrastructure in the areas around Kamianka, Vesele, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Avdiivka, Pisky, and Zolota Nyva. Sabotage and reconnaissance units attempted to engage in hostilities and conduct assault operations around Krasnohorivka and Poltavka, but were unsuccessful and retreated to the previously held positions.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian troops have used mortars, artillery, and MLRS to fire on civilian infrastructure around Kavkaz, Lepetykha, Dmytrivka, Osokorivka, Blahodiine, and Stepova Dolyna. Russian forces resumed aerial reconnaissance and attempted to mount an assault on the Kryvyi Rih front, but were repulsed and retreated to previously occupied positions.

In order to maintain their lines of defence, Russian occupation forces have strengthened their front by transferring reserve units to routes the Ukrainian Armed Forces might possibly use to advance.

Units of the 150th Motor Rifle Division of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army have suffered losses on the Popasna front, including at least 50% military personnel, weapons, and equipment.

The General Staff reports that "Enemy personnel are demoralised due to the constant delays in rotation. This leads to refusals to take part in hostilities on the part of military personnel."
