Sumy region: Two people killed in Russian shelling

Two people were killed due to Russian shelling in Sumy Oblast on 28 June, while three others were injured.

Details: Russian forces started to fire at the Krasnopillia region and some settlements in the hromada (Amalgamated Territorial Community - ed.) of Velyka Pysarivka after 10:00. The Russians launched about 20 missiles from helicopters that did not cross the state border. All the "incoming" strikes hit the hromadas of Krasnopillia and Myropil.
The Russians opened fire with Grad multiple rocket launchers after 11:00, with 30 "incoming" strikes in the Krasnopillia region.
Russian forces fired nearly 50 artillery shells on the villages of in the hromada of Krasnopillia using self-propelled guns, starting the attack at noon. The Russians also used machine guns and a mounted grenade launcher. In the afternoon, a drone dropped an explosive device on one of the villages in the hromada of Velyka Pysarivka and the same is said to have been repeated after 20:00.
The Russians attacked Krasnopillia with artillery once again at about 14:00: around 30 "incoming" missiles have been reported. Another 40 missiles were launched after 18:00 and a further 12 MLRS strikes on various settlements of the hromada.
