Details: These are Major Maksim Krasnoshchokov, Battalion Commander and Major Aleksandr Vasilev, Company Deputy Commander.

According to the SSU, these Russian servicemen directed the actions of motorised rifle units during the temporary occupation of the village of Peremoha in the Kyiv region.

Investigators found that in February 2022, during the occupation of the village of Peremoha, Brovary district, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces illegally captured 7 civilians.

The occupiers illegally interrogated the men, beat and kicked them, and used firearms.

The SSU notes that both commanders personally interrogated Ukrainians and tried to get information about the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, law enforcement officials and territorial defence.

In the end, they ordered their subordinates to shoot the people with machine guns right at the place of torture (according to the prosecutor's office, 5 hostages were executed – ed.) and to blow up the building with the bodies to hide a war crime.

Majors Krasnoshchokov and Vasilev, servicemen of the 15th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 2nd Guards General Army of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation, have now been declared suspected of violating the laws and customs of war.
