Kremenchuk strike: second missile damages factory buildings

A missile strike in the Poltava region on 27 June has destroyed the Amstor shopping centre in Kremenchuk and damaged factory buildings.

Details: The bodies of 18 people (1 person died in hospital) have been found in the wake of the strike on the shopping and entertainment centre as of this morning.
A total of 59 people have sought medical help, with 24 hospitalised, 6 of whom are in a critical condition.
Dmytro Lunin [Head of Poltava Oblast Military Administration – ed.] also reported that 36 people are listed as missing.
Search and rescue operations and debris removal are ongoing.
The Amstor shopping centre has been completely destroyed.
A second missile hit one factory site. One of the factory buildings was destroyed, along with all the windows at the site; and a two-storey building was damaged.
2 workers were injured in the missile attack.
Background:
- On 27 June, the Russians struck Kremenchuk with 2 missiles, hitting the Amstor shopping centre.
- Following the Russian missile strike on the Kremenchuk shopping centre, more than 40 reports were received from citizens that their relatives were missing.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that many people could have been killed, but many customers managed to leave the shopping centre before the missiles hit it.
