Air defence trooper grounds Russian Alligator helicopter

Zhytomyr airborne forces have shot down a Russian Ka-52 reconnaissance attack helicopter.

Details: It has been reported that a serviceman from an air defence unit of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has shot down a Russian Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance attack helicopter using a Starstreak man-portable air defence system.

As reported by Ukrainska Pravda, this happened on 27 June. The front where it took place was not disclosed.
