Kremenchuk attack: 40 people are missing, dozens in critical condition

Over 40 people have been reported missing by their relatives following the Russian missile strike on the shopping mall in Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast.

Quote: "So far, we know of about 13 people who were killed and whose bodies have been extracted from under the rubble.

In addition, 59 people sought medical assistance. Almost half of them are in critical condition. One person died in hospital from their injuries.

We have already received over 40 reports from citizens about their relatives who are missing."

Details: The Prosecutor’s Office reported that rescue workers are continuing to clear away the debris and rubble of the building. Their work is made more difficult by the fire, which emergency workers are still trying to localise.

Earlier: On 27 June, the Russians launched two missiles on a Kremenchuk shopping mall; 13 people were killed and over 40 were wounded.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that many people were able to evacuate from the Amstor shopping mall in Kremenchuk before it was hit by the Russian missiles.
